Howard A. Johnson, age 82, of Wyoming was called to the Lord on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rolla and Violet Johnson; brother, Rolla Johnson; sister, Arvada Carroll. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Hong Johnson; children, James Johnson, Kelly Johnson, Kathy Heilig, Kimberly Russell, Kristi (Ryan) Pryor; 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Howard loved Nascar, local racing at Berlin and Kalamazoo speedway, car shows, and his grandbabies. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Saturday, March 23, at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave, Wyoming, with Rev. Marcus Schmidt officiating. Burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Disabled Veterans Association.
