Hilda Dekker, age 94, of Grandville, formerly of Wyoming Park, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 30, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emery and will be lovingly remembered by her children, Tom and Peggy Dekker, Sue and Tom Keegstra, Don and Carolyn Dekker, Sandy and Don Roelofs; grandchildren, TJ, Sally, Tony and Rachelle Dekker, Nicholas, Jesse and Kim, Tessa Keegstra, Josh and Melissa, Brandon and Andi, Andrew (Jadyn) Dekker, Rob Spidell, Tara and Kellen Keck;  great-grandchildren, Sadie, Kinsley, and Levi Dekker, Carter, and Layla Keck, and soon to arrive baby girl Dekker; sister, Grace Dykstra; several nieces and nephews.  A loving mother to her children and grandchildren, Hilda was known for her generous giving nature.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 3rd, at 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf, Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with hospice Chaplain Caleb Walcott officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, and one hour prior to the funeral on Wednesday. Hilda’s family would like to thank the staff of  Rose Garden Homes of Grandville for their loving care of her over the past few years.
