Hermina J. Ten Harmsel, age 86, of Byron Center, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry “Pat” Ten Harmsel, and son-in-law, Randall Lummen.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Patricia and Ron Sabin, Phillip and Shirley Ten Harmsel, Stephen and Amy Ten Harmsel; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, Albert and Marilyn Hoekzema; sister-in-law, Jane Ten Harmsel; many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Second Byron Christian Reformed Church, 7588 Byron Center Ave. SW, with Rev. Adam Nordyke officiating.  Interment Winchester Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Wyoming), 4031 Clyde Park Ave. SW. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Edison Christian Rest Home or Byron Center Christian School.
