​Hermina Ellens, age 69, of Caledonia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 4, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, Reint Dykhouse. Hermina will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Greg Ellens; children, Teresa and Jason Rodgers, Cathy and Michael Naughton, Tim and Missy Soper; step children, Tim Ellens, Mike Ellens, Steve and Carla Ellens; grandchildren, Courtney and Tanner Ellens, Jace Rodgers and Logan Rodgers, Tylor Cook, Amber Cook, Andrea VanderVelde and fiance Colin Erskine, Zoei Kooiker, Riley Soper, Austin Soper, Kaitlyn Soper, Maya Ellens, Mason Ellens, Olivia Ellens and Addison Ellens; great grandchildren, Molly, Owen and Madison; mother Helena Dykhouse; brothers, Bernie and Nan Dykhouse, Rich and Irene Dykhouse; many nieces and nephews. She loved her children and her family and will always be remembered for her love of decorating for Christmas. A celebration of life gathering will be held on January 16, 2021 from 2-4 pm at Country Meadows Village Clubhouse, 5401 76th St. SE, Caledonia, MI 49316.
