KENT - Mr. Herbert E. Kent aged 92, went to be with the Lord Saturday, June 28, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ione Mae Kent in 2000. Surviving are his children, Linda Murphy, Paul (Carrie) Kent, Wanda (David) Baker; grandchildren, LeBrenda (Wayne) Street, James (Lisa) Shoebridge, Duane (Jackie) Shoebridge, Bruce (Jody) Shoebridge, Heather Larson, Steve (Melissa) Kent, Jennifer (Matthew) Mellema, Austin Baker, Karla (Brett) Shull; 21 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE., Belmont. His family will greet relatives and friends Tuesday from 5PM to 8PM and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral chapel. Interment Algoma Township Cemetery.
