My sympathies to you at the loss of your husband, Hank. The apostle Paul wrote to the Philippians "for to me to live is Christ but to die is gain". That victory is his; his faith has has become sight and in a sense he is a step ahead of us.

Uncle Hank was my last surviving uncle on the Holtrop side, but was by far the one I knew best and had spent the most time with over the years. On many Saturday mornings, when we gathered for coffee at Grandma Holtrop's condo, it was often only my dad, Uncle Hank, grandma and me in the room.
I'm so glad I got to see him one last time in August at my parents' home in West Olive. He and I were quite different, but I loved him very much and I believe (hope) that he knew that.
Rest well, dear uncle.
