Henry Bultema

Henry “Hank” “Trout King” Bultema, age 72, of Wyoming, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Henry was a kind and loving dad and grandpa who dearly cherished his family. Blessed with a strong work ethic, he was the former owner of Bultema Brothers Builders Supply for many years, establishing many friendships. Henry loved to enjoy wildlife and the outdoors, especially spending time at his cabin up north. He recently taught his oldest grandson, Vance, how to trout fish. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Frances and Cornelius Bultema; sister, Luanne Bultema; and brother, Gerald Bultema. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Lucas (Sarah), Kelly, and Jason; grandchildren, Vance, Frances, and Kroy O’mara, and Quinn Elizabeth Wind Bultema; and brother, Jack Bultema (Barbara Enright). At Henry’s request, cremation has taken place and there will not be a visitation or funeral service. On Sunday, April 24, 2022, from 1-4 p.m. the family will be hosting a celebration of life at Henry’s favorite hangout, Chubby’s Bar and Grill, located at 5751 Byron Center Ave. SW, Wyoming, MI 49519. There will also be a gathering at Henry’s cabin on June 18, 2022, for an afternoon/evening cookout followed by fireworks and a bonfire. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Spectrum Health Hospice.
