Helene Marie Peelen

Helene Marie Peelen, age 99, of Jenison, was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. We feel more than blessed to have known one of the most kind, loving, caring and beautiful persons God has ever created. Heaven has gained one of its greatest angels even though we are sure going to miss her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Arthur. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Anne Marie and Roger Roode; grandchildren, Kurt and Lexi Roode, Julie and Mike Warners, Pam and Bob Plann; great-grandchildren, Lindsay Warners, Meghan and Tom Stepanek, Brittany and Tony Troger, Trevor Roode, Ali and Nick Blauw; sister, Marie and Jay Timmer; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday 1:00 pm at Sunset Manor, 725 Baldwin, Jenison with Rev. Len Kuyvenhoven officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and on Friday from 12-1 pm prior to the service at Sunset Manor. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Unity Christian High School or Sunset Manor.
