Helen Mae Lewis

Helen Mae Lewis, age 98, of Wyoming was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 12, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clare; parents, Lambert and Elizabeth Rens; siblings, Madelyn Morgan and Donald Rens. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Nancee and Dale Wesorick, her son, Greg Lewis and Maryann Lesert; grandchildren, Adam and Monika Wesorick, Amy and Jason Young, Katie Wesorick, Max Lockwood, and Aurora Lewis; great grandchildren, Tanner, Carter, Sasha, Landon, and Kai; extended family and friends. Helen was a quick-witted observer who chose to recognize and amplify others rather than herself. She loved and supported her family above all else. Helen retired from McInerney Spring & Wire after working there over thirty years. Memorial Mass will be held at noon, Monday, July 22 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 4101 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. John Vallier celebrant. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family July 21 from 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Emmanuel Hospice.
