Helen Kamp, age 94, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Helen was a loving sister, aunt and friend to many, and she will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Cornelia Kamp; brothers, John and JoAnn Kamp, Peter Kamp; sisters, Jane and Dan DeMeester, Ada Bloem; brothers-in-law, Richard Westrate, Henry Spaans, and George Feyter. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Gertrude Westrate, Richard (Ruth) Kamp, Martina Feyter, Henry (Lena) Kamp; sister-in-law, Emeline Kamp; brother-in-law, Henry Bloem; many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and many special church friends. Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Rev. Herman Hofman officiating. Burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 10-10:45 am at the funeral home prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Plymouth Christian School Foundation or The Holland Home Foundation and Benevolence Care Fund.
