Helen Joan Landstra

Helen Joan Landstra, age 87, of Jenison, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 30, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Elwin Landstra; her parents, and her brothers and their wives.  She will be greatly missed by her children, Jan and James De Lange, Carol and Jeff Stoner, Luanne and Jerry Emelander, Mary Jo and John Sall; grandchildren, Mike and Cathy De Lange, Melanie and David Ziegler, Megan and Tom Stickroe, Brad and Kristen Stoner, Andrea and Brandon Scott, Ryan and Jen Emelander, Terri and Jason Cornell, Kyle and Amanda Emelander, Nate Sall, Caitlin Sall; 17 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Margaret Offringa, Mary Katsma, Richard and Eleanor Landstra, Larry and Karen Landstra; and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Rev. James Evenhouse officiating.  Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. The family wishes to express a special thanks to American House of Jenison and Hospice of Holland for the wonderful care given to Helen.
