Helen Deady

Helen Deady, age 97, of Jenison, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 29, 2022. Helen was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who greatly enjoyed her family and loved spending time with them. Helen was preceded in death by her first husband, Carroll (Mac) McConnell; second husband, Fredrick Deady; sister, Maude Zaske; and brother, Adrian Olree. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Bill and Linda McConnell, Jim and LuAnn McConnell; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Harvey Heneveld officiating. Burial Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10-11 am prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Shriners Hospital for Children or Sunset Legacy Foundation.
