DARA - Mrs. Helen Marie Dara (Myers), age 83 of Wyoming, MI, went to be in the presence of her Lord on Sunday, December 30, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mariano (Mike); son, Anthony (Tony); parents, Orley and Lydia Myers; sister, Rita Falan; brother, Milo (Stub) Myers; parents-in-law, Jack and Vencenza Dara; and brother-in-law, Joseph Vulpetti. Surviving are her children, Michael (Cheryl) Dara, Joanne (Paul) Jesnek, Linda (Francisco) Ocampo; grandchildren, Cassandra (Jacob) VanderMyde, Angela Dara, Jennifer (Shawn) Leonard, Anthony, Alicia and Matthew Jesnek; great- grandchildren, Austin Dara, Noah, Emma and Alexa VanderMyde, and Evan Leonard; sister-in-law, Anna Vulpetti; and special nephews, Rocco and Jack Vulpetti; her close friends Nick and Mary Bono. Helen was a member of the Altar Society and a minister of the Eucharist at Our Lady of Sorrows church where a Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00am Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 101 Hall St SE with Rev Theodore Kozlowski as celebrant. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will greet friends and relatives on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM with prayers of the rosary being recited at 7:30PM at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave and at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorial Contributions may be made in Helen's memory to Faith Hospice Holland Home.
