Hector Jose Trevino

Hector Jose Trevino, age 83, of Hudsonville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Hector was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a talented handyman who loved to repair and fix things and enjoyed helping others with their projects. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing. Hector also loved to eat, especially pecan pie. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dina Moomey. Hector will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Grace; children and grandchildren, Anthony and Deb Trevino (Elissa Trevino, Kyle and Brittani Trevino, Brek Trevino, Quinn and Haley Trevino, Shane Trevino, Jeff and McKenna Durham), and David Trevino (Gavin and Rose Trevino, Chloe Trevino); son-in-law, John Moomey (Megan Moomey, and Casey Moomey); nine great-grandchildren; and many siblings, nieces, and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at St. Pius X, 3937 Wilson Ave Sw, Grandville, with Fr. Stephen Durkee officiating. Burial Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 10-11 am prior to the service at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.
