Harvey G. Bergsma

Bergsma, Harvey G., age 88, of Jenison, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 14, 2016.  He was born in Ellsworth, MI on April 15, 1928.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerrit and Bertha Bergsma; great granddaughter, Zaeyana Driggs.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 68 years, Evelyn Bergsma; his children, Deb and Doug Driggs, Diane and Steve Nichols, Dennis and Lorilee Bergsma; grandchildren, Dan and Nicholette Driggs, Darci Driggs, Kim and Mark Grooters, Mike and Rachel Nichols, Tara and Josh Berghuis, Amanda and Nate Wagenmaker, Jillian and Bryton Mansfield, Alyssa Bergsma; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Betty Newhouse; brother-in-law, Gordon and Virginia Drenth; many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday 11 am at Faith Community Christian Reformed Church, 5250 Byron Center SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Roger Groenboom and Rev. Wayne Walters officiating.  Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and on Tuesday from 10-11 am at the church prior to the service.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Sunset Manor Benevolent Fund.  Condolences may be sent online at www.mkdfuneralhome.com.
