Harry Walter Kaiser, age 87, of Jenison, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, May 28, 2017. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.  He was preceded in death by his granddaughters, Patricia Lynn and Rebekah Joy Zandstra. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Kaiser; children, Linda and Bern Zandstra, Dan and Julie Kaiser, Doug and Julie Kaiser, Tim and Joan Kaiser; 16 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Phyllis VerWys, Mary VerWys, Barbara DeVries, Eleanor Pierce; brother-in-law, John and Sandy VerWys; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Grandville Protestant Reformed Church, 4320 40th St., Grandville, with Professor Ronald Cammenga officiating.  A private family graveside service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens prior to the memorial service.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Covenant Christian High School.
