Harriet Kilgore

Harriet J. Kilgore, age 93, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; parents, Peter and Agnes Dykwell; brother, Simon Dykwell.  Harriet will be lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Darla Kilgore of Jenison, Steven and Cheryl Kilgore of Byron Center, Tom and Kris Kilgore of Caledonia, Rob and Sarah Kilgore of Denver, CO; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Lobbes; sister-in-law, Janie Kilgore; many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.  Harriet was a member of the Helping Hands Quilt Guild at Fair Haven Church making lap robes for the sick and hospitalized.  She crocheted booties for the Sunset Haiti mission and she also enjoyed volunteering in the mailroom at Sunset and teaching adult community education and folding laundry at the Laurels of Hudsonville.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 3 pm at Fair Haven Church, 2900 Baldwin St., Hudsonville, with Rev. Rick Oppenhuizen officiating.  Burial Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday from 2 pm until the time of the service at church.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to CranHill.
