Harold W. Hannant

Harold W. Hannant, age 74, of Grand Rapids and formerly, Bay City, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Harold graduated from John Glen High School in 1967. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Ruth, and Aunt Dorothy Fowley. He is survived by his brother, Larry and Suzanne Hannant, many loving nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. So very sorry for your loss, Larry & family. I have a lot of memories of Harold when we went to Bangor West Central. I didn't know he had Autism, but knew he was different. I remember your mom coming to pick him up at school when he would have a bad day. I always admired how well he could draw school buses and cars. He had an artistic ability. My husband, Basil DeFore ended up working with your father at Consumers (Power) Energy. The last time I saw Harold was at your mother's funeral. May he rest in peace.
