Harold John Sall, age 94, of Allendale, was called home on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, to spend eternity in the presence of his Lord. We take comfort in knowing that his Salvation was bought and paid for by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Savior! Harold’s faith was foremost and gave him constant joy, strength and direction. He was rewarded with a lifetime of good health, a sound mind and endless positive energy. He felt blessed to be able to work hard, and work hard he did! Besides retiring from Keeler Brass, he had an egg route, and he worked his produce farm and was a vendor at the Muskegon farmers markets for nearly 60 years. Harold believed the fruits of his labor belonged to the Lord and he used them dutifully to help many others who were less fortunate and in need. His personal message to anyone who was struggling was that we are never alone and that God is always with us. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife of 67 years, Beatrice, who passed in 2016. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Deur; and grandson, baby Joshua. He will be lovingly remembered for his gentle and caring nature by his children, Barb and Steve Van Vels, Steve and Sue Sall, and Ken Sall; grandchildren, Justin and Missy De Jong, Arley and Scott Czarnopys, Robert Deur, Kenneth Sall Jr., Kedna Sall, Rob Morgan, Ryan and Sarah Bush; great-grandchildren, Jace and Myla De Jong, Haven and Daxton Czarnopys, Logan, Rachael and Josiah Deur, Emersyn and Kyler Bush, and Champ Sall; brothers, Mike Sall, Cal Sall; sister, Glady Heyboer; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at noon at North Blendon Christian Reformed Church, 7284 Taylor, Hudsonville, with Rev. Aaron Vriesman officiating. The burial will take place at Blendon Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - noon at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Christian Fellowship Assembly, in Allendale, who provide meals and comfort to those in need.
