Harold John Beimers

Harold John Beimers, age 80 years old passed away at his AFC home in Grand Rapids, MI on Friday, July 15, 2022. He suffered many problems in his life, but died very peacefully of natural causes.

He was born and raised in Ada, MI by the Grand River, in that house he loved for more than 60 years. Harold graduated from Lowell High School in 1962. Instead of a car, he bought a horse so he could round up the cows in his grandpa’s woods.

He worked a while for General Motors like his dad did, but he just wanted to be outside. He bought his own truck and began to move mobile homes, to see more of the country while he was working.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Martha Beimers; and his sister, Mariane at the age of 27 in 1971.

He is survived by his sister, Dorothy and Ron Brentana with their children, Mike, Pam and Tom and family; brother, Ken and Arlynn Beimers with their children, Denise, Rhonda, Angie, Missy, Brenda and all their families.

A memorial service will be held 1 pm Friday, September 16 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, followed by a luncheon.
