Hannah Leigh Veldman

Hannah Leigh Veldman, age 28, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. Hannah was preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her parents, Edwin and Dawn Veldman; sisters, Ashley (Ramon) Fredricks, Amanda (Derek) Gorter; nieces and nephews, Grady, Parker, Christian, Vivian, Reese, Charlotte; grandparents, Phyllis and Ed VanderKooy; many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Hannah was a loving and caring woman who adored her nieces and nephews and loved spending time with them. She thoroughly enjoyed sports, especially, softball and basketball. A Memorial Service for Hannah will be held on Tuesday at 6:00 PM at Rosewood Reformed Church, 2795 Rosewood, Jenison, with Pastor Theda Williams officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.

Hannah, we and so many memories together. Moving to Georgia and living on a mountain to find ourselves. I wouldn't be me without you. I will always love you. Dawn, we went to high school together & although we haven't seen each other since then, we connected through Facebook and I have enjoyed seeing your posts of you and your daughters. I too have daughters I know your heart is broken & your loss is unspeakable.
