Greta Vanderheide

Greta Vanderheide, age 91, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord on April 11, 2026. She enjoyed knitting, Wii bowling, and playing bingo at Sunset. Above all, she especially loved her family. Greta was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Bob.” She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Roger and Susan Vanderheide, Linda Postma, Ruth and John DeBruine; grandchildren: Leighann and Andy Van Popering, Marcus and Colleen Vanderheide, Spencer and Marietta Vanderheide, Graham and Natasha Vanderheide, Becky and John Beld, Andy and Natalie Postma, Rachel and Ken Gibbie, Nicole DeBruine, Amanda DeBruine, Michael and Tori DeBruine; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Lorraine Kuipers; and many nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Dale Fopma, officiating. Burial will take place at Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 am at the funeral home prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Emmanuel Hospice, Grandville Calvin Christian School, or International Needs.
