Grace Sawicki

Grace Sawicki, age 89, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Thomas Sawicki on February 14, 2025. Grace is survived by her children, Timothy (Terrie) Sawicki, Julie Duff, Steven (Kelly) Sawicki; grandchildren, Jason (Stacie) Sawicki, Brandon (Melissa) Duff, Thomas Sawicki, Katherine Sawicki, Camille (Fiancé, Nick Mercado) Sawicki; 3 step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Judy (Ken) Walker; nieces, and nephews, as well as many close friends. Grace was known for her extraordinary cooking and her generous spirit, often preparing comforting dishes for the churches funeral luncheon and sharing her treasured recipes with loved ones so they could enjoy her goodness for years to come. A woman of deep faith, Grace loved the Lord and lived her life in service to others. Her devotion extended to her family, friends, and especially to her grandchildren, whom she delighted with thoughtful gifts and joyful visits. Her kindness, quick wit, and warm heart left an incredible mark on everyone she met. Grace‘s legacy of love, generosity, and faith will live on in the many lives she touched.  Grace always put the needs of others above her own.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at  St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park Avenue SW, Wyoming, with Rev. John Vallier officiating.  Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family an hour prior to the Mass on Tuesday from 10-11am at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to a charity of their choosing.
