Grace Mary Westbrook

Grace Westbrook, age 95, of Grand Rapids was called to her heavenly home on Monday, December 18, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Gerald. She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Grace was a very active woman who enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos with friends. She always made sure that her house was clean and tidy. She and Gerald enjoyed traveling and exploring the country. They spent many winters in Florida and traveled the state as well. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church 101 Hall St. SE with Rev. Ted Kozlowsi presiding. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 5-7 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Discalced Carmelite Nuns in Ada, MI or Faith Hospice. Grace’s family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Faith Hospice for the loving care she received.
