Dear Barb, Tony, Tami, and family - we were saddened to hear of Gordon’s passing, although we rejoice that he is at home with his Lord. Gord was faithful to his family and church family as well. Blessings to you all, and may you experience God’s peace over the time ahead.

I graduated with Gordon, class of 71 and remember him exactly as his obituary reads. He was friendly, kind and helpful to all of us. RIP classmate! The world is not as beautiful and bright as when you were in it.

Gordon was a wonderful, fun and loving cousin. We shared so many wonderful times at his home, our grandparents and at Silver Lake when we were growing up. Gordon was always willing to explore, included others, was generous and thoughtful. He took me on my first camping trip. I supplied the tent and he had the car. We were still in high school but my parents trusted Gordon to get us to and from Grand Rapids and Silver Lake. One memorable time was when Gordon convinced is father, my Uncle George to help for a day on home Uncle George was building. Gordon patiently taught me what rooks to use and thankfully corrected my mistakes. He was a great card player and was particularly close to our Grandfather. We will miss you Gordon, but our loving memories of you will always remain with us. Your cousin Tim

Dear Barb and children, Ken, Kath, Beth and others, Sherry and I were both sorry to hear of Gord's passing. Please accept our heart-felt sympathy and condolences. Gord was definitely a neat kid and it's very sweet to think of him visiting with parents, aunts and uncles, etc., in heaven in Jesus's presence. My very fondest memory of time spent with Gord, is, of course, when we went on a tenting vacation to Canada not long after his brain surgery. I can hardly believe that your parents trusted me enough to take him with. At this point, after having children of my own, I am deeply honored. We had a wonderful time visiting my Canadian friends. One was a close friend from GMI in Flint. They totally accepted him into our circle and later enjoyed seeing him again at our wedding. Again, love and prayers coming your way. All the best to all of you, Rick & Sherry
