Gloria Ann Tinney (Racine), age 85, of Jenison, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020. Born to Henry and Margaret (Otzman) Racine, she was the ninth of twelve children.  Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, and three sisters.  She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Raymond J. Tinney; five children, Barbara J. Balder, Linda M. Frasch, Lou Ann (David) Bracher, David C. (Connie) Tinney, William R. (Dawn) Tinney; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.  Gloria’s working career started at a very young age with Sweetlands Restaurant followed by retiring from Bissell Inc. in 1997. Her entire life was devoted to caring and supporting her family, which is one of many traits she instilled in her children.  Gloria was blessed with many life and travel experiences with her husband, but her true joy came from entertaining and cooking and baking for family and friends. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Fountain View Assisted Living.
