Gloria Maria Cartagena, 89, of Aibonito, Puerto Rico, passed away on April 29, 2024, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was a retired Social Worker in Puerto Rico, where she built many friendships that lasted a lifetime.
Gloria was a devoted Catholic that prayed incessantly for her family. Her family will attend a Church Service in her honor on Sunday, May 5th at 11:00 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 225 32nd St. SW, Wyoming, MI 49548.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos J. Solivan. She is survived by her children: Carlos R. Solivan, Gloria I. Solivan (Abraham), Nelson R. Solivan (Suzanna), Javier Solivan (Nancy), along with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held in Puerto Rico at a later date to celebrate Gloria’s life and legacy.
