Gloria Ione Johnson, age 89, of Byron Center, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 18, 2025. She was preceded in death by parents, William and Zella VanderMarkt; parents-in-law Albert and Tena Johnson and several siblings-in-law. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 69 years, Delbert; children, Sherri (Dave) Blickley, Marcia (Jim) Kiszelik, Karen (Randy) Olson, Susan Johnson; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Warren; her siblings-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. David Albrecht, Dr. Matthew Sevensma, and Faith Hospice Trillium Woods. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 22, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. The burial will take place at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Monday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
