Gloria Jean Meelker

Gloria J. Meelker, age 75, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Merlin and Henrietta Emery; brother, Nicky Emery; partner, Joe Trevino. She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Allen and Wendy Meelker, Sarah Johnson; grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas, Olivia, Ashley; great grandchildren, Lili’Ann, Molly; brother, Merlin and Joanne Emery, sister, Carol (Rich, deceased) Snoeyink; many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Gloria enjoyed spending time crocheting, visiting the casino but she especially enjoyed sunbathing and spending time at the family cottage. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood with Pastor Mark Kirsch officiating.  Burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Thursday, June 19, from 5-8 pm at the funeral home and from 10-10:45am on Friday before the funeral service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
