Gloria Bursey-Slykhouse

Bursey-Slykhouse - Ms. Gloria Bursey-Slykhouse, aged 79, of Grand Rapids, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger. Surviving are her children, Roger Slykhouse, Gary (Michelle) Slykhouse and Holly (Steve) Gregg; grandchildren, Justin (Mackenzie), Travis and Taylor Gregg, Jack and Sam Slykhouse; fiance, Harry Borgman; cousins, Mary Lee Naimo, Gladys Paasche and Sandy Johnson; along with several other cousins and family in Newfoundland, Canada. She was the author of the book 50 Ways to Find Romance After 50, co-authored and published St. Lunaire with her father, Jack Bursey, published the magazines Glory and Choices for several years, and published several other books and magazines by other authors. Gloria was also active in the Women's Literary Club and the French Club Alliance Francaise.
