May the Lord be as kind to Gladys' family and friends in her death as she was to others with whom she worked and lived. I was a D. S. and Conference Council Director at the Conference Center and knew her as a most helpful, supportive colleague. My brief visits with her at Clark Retirement Community (where we live) after she moved in continued my appreciation for her. Live in hope and peace in her passing. Rev Ken McCaw

I am so thankful for the conversations I had with Gladys at Hudsonville UMC. She always had a twinkle in her eye and a great love in her heart. She certainly welcomed many college students and young people to our congregation. I will always remember her generous spirit. Heather Grubaugh Holt

I remember how Glady let me play the organ with her at church when my family visited the church with my Uncle Mike and Aunt Fidge. She was a very kind and patient person and my prayers are with the family during this difficult time. Linda (Sowers) Fanning

Sincere sympathy to Gladys' family. I was a student at Aquinas in the 1960's and enjoyed her presence as the switchboard operator, a very important position in the days before cell phones! I talked to her on the phone after the wonderful article was written about her affinity for the Tigers. She was just as charming as ever. Patricia Kozal, Aquinas '70
