Young - Gilbert David Young, aged 76, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Price Young; mother, Rachel Glaze; daughter, Laura Young; sons, Gary and Jeff Young; sisters, Linda Walker, Peggy Davis; brother, Willie Young; granddaughter, Kelsey Harden. Gilbert is survived by his wife, Connie; children, Mark (Jacqueline) Young, Andrea (Michael) Donovan, Todd Young, Debra (Curtis) Harden, Gilbert Young Jr., Paul Young; several grandchildren with another one expected in October; brother, Ronald Young; sister, Barbara (Malcolm) Hilliard; brother and sister in-law, Dean (Karen) DeSpelder; sister-in-law, Chris Young and many nieces and nephews. Also preceded in death by Connie's parents, Robert and Isabel DeSpelder. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM, Monday, June 6, 2016 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave. The family will meet with relatives and friends, Sunday from 5PM to 7PM at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S.
