DREW - Gilbert Martin Drew age 75 passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018. Gilbert is survived by his wife of 39 years, Kathy Drew; children, Dawn (Randy) Kropf, Darcy (David) Hood, Doug (Jenny) Drew; grandchildren, Carly (Justin) Jarvis, Colten Kropf, Easton Hood, Trenton Drew; father-in-law, Gordon Flanagan; sisters-in-law, Patricia (Gerritt) Schut, Debbie Flanagan, Beckie Washington, Shanon (Chuck) Hieftje; brothers-in-law, Norman (Shelly) Flanagan, Leo (Patti) Flanagan, Patrick (Tina) Flanagan, Paul (Anne) Flanagan. Gilbert was a "Master of All Trades". He was the former operator and owner of Grand Rapids Plumbing Service which is now being run by his son, Doug. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 47 and 179. He participated in the Loyal Order of Moose in both Michigan and Florida. A Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 21 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont. Gilbert's family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A- Wish Foundation.
