Gertrude Riddering

Gertrude Riddering, age 97, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 10, 2018.  She was a lifetime member of Beckwith Hills Christian Reformed Church. She worked at Baker Bookhouse for many years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Riddering; sisters, Clara Versluis and Angie Terveen, brother, Maynard Oosting.  Gertrude will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Linda and Russell Oosse, son, Tom and Kay Riddering; grandchildren, Michael and Cathy Oosse, Pamela and Jeff Vandehoef, Doreen and Jeff Joyce, and Kathy and Kristy from Waco, TX; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Rick Pinckney officiating.  Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 1 to 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Beckwith Hills CRC Memorial Fund or Emmanuel Hospice.
