HUISMAN - Mrs. Gertrude "Gert" M. Huisman aged 86 was called home Thursday, December 1, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter; grandson, CPL Nicholas Ryan Roush; brothers, Garrit and Arthur Ebbeling; sister, Bertha Van Dyke; daughter-in-law and former son Gerald, Tamara "Tammy" Huisman. Surviving are her children, Wayne (Karen) Huisman, Beverly (Glenn) Scott, Gerald (Linda) Huisman, Linda (Greg) Postema, Donna (Robert) Roush, Jr.; 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 2:30PM Monday, December 5, 2016 at Grandville Bible Church, 4122 - 44th St. SW. Her family will greet relatives and friends Sunday from 2 to 4 PM at Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave., and one hour prior to the service on Monday at Church.
