Hassevoort, Gertrude Edna Gertrude Edna Hassevoort, age 91, of Allendale, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 16, 2013.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hassevoort, Jr.; son, Curtis Hassevoort; son-in-law, Kenneth TerHorst;  great grandsons, Preston Pepper,  Hudson Vugteveen; mother, Minnie Kloosterman; father, Edward Kloosterman; brother, Edward Kloosterman, Jr.; sister, Ann Van Huis.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Judy Ter Horst, Karen and Jerry Berghorst, Jim and Dee Hassevoort, Loren and Linda Hassevoort, Kathi and Dwight Vugteveen, Betty and Terry Cooper, Paul and Sandie Hassevoort, Mark and Lori Hassevoort, David Hassevoort; 19 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; brother, Minard DeVries; brothers-in-law, Gordon and Gert Hassevoort, Donald and Betty Hassevoort; sisters-in-law, Joanne Hassevoort, Ruth and Ken Knap, Kay and Terry Kraai, Beverly Hassevoort; many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Monday 11 am at North Blendon Christian Reformed Church, 7284 Taylor, Hudsonville, with Pastor Aaron Vriesman officiating.  Interment Blendon Township Cemetery.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Spectrum Health Hospice or Love INC.   Relatives and friends may meet the family on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (corner of Scott and Avery) 6651 Scott St., Allendale.
