He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 33 years, Anita (Postmus) MacDonald; children, John MacDonald, Alyssa MacDonald; father-in-law, John Postmus (Grace VanderWerff); brothers, Randy “Mac” and Cecilia MacDonald, Rick and Michelle MacDonald, Tony and Terri MacDonald; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Helen MacDonald, Tim and Amy Postmus; and several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Sunday, October 10, from 2-4 p.m. at Cottonwood Church, 1101 Cypress Dr., Jenison. A service to celebrate Gerry’s life will be held following the visitation at 4 p.m. at the church, with Pastor Matthew Palsrok officiating. After the service, guests are invited to join the family for a light supper at the MKD Reception and Event Center, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville.
