Bouwer, Geraldine Ruth BOUWER: Geraldine Ruth Bouwer (Postema), age 88, of Allendale, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 5, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Irwin Bouwer. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Ron and Debbie Bouwer; grandchildren, Kim Kintgen, Joe and Amber Cummins, Anita Apol; 7 great grandsons; 1 great granddaughter; foster children, Lynda and Ron DeVries, Marcia and Perry Slagter, Duane and Tracy Brouwer; sister, Jospehine Doorn; nieces, Lynda and Gail Lutz, Judy and Bill Bouma; many great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Saturday at Eastmanville United Reformed Church, 6845 Leonard Rd., Coopersville, with Pastor Jeph Nobel and Pastor John Geisel officiating. Interment Allendale Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf (corner of Avery and Scott) 6651 Scott St., Allendale. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Fountainview Assisted Living.

Thank you Gerry for taking care of our family when we came from Cambodia. Thank you for your love, bible studies, phone calls, prayers, care, and tenderness in everything you do. I know you are at a better place now, but I can't help but missing you. You will be in my heart forever, love you Gerry. I know one day, I will see you and Jay again.
