Geraldine Marie Krzeminski

Geraldine Marie Krzeminski, age 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, parents, Jacob and Laura Schumaker and was the last of seven children. She will be greatly missed by her children, Laura (Jon) Schmidt, Terry (Earl) Saladin, Richard (Connie) Krzeminski, Janine (Edward) Mayhew, Donald (Darlene) Schoenborn; grandchildren, Zachary Turner, Sarah Turner, Joshua (Cathy) England. Amanda (Josh) Bossie, Rachel (Mike) Plaska, Ashley (Jay) Lantinga, Adam Mayhew, Theresa Saladin, Christine Jesi (John) Gamelin; great-grandchildren, Megan and Kate Baldry, Mason, Alexander and Lucas England, Evelyn and Jack Henry Lantinga, Riley Plaska; in-laws, Milly Schumaker, Joseph Krzeminski, Harry Krzeminski Eugene (Vickie) Krzeminski; several nieces and nephews. Gerri worked for many of the former well known retail clothing stores in Grand Rapids. She enjoyed bowling with friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am Wednesday at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Fr. Mike Alber presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. The family will meet relatives and friends Tuesday 5-8pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with a vigil at 5:30pm. Memorial contributions may be made to P.O.R.T at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital or to the Foundation for Fighting Blindness.
