Geraldine Marie Allen

Geraldine M. Allen, age 62, of Hudsonville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 17, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruno and Marie Gervasi and brother, Bruno Gervasi. Geri will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 38 years, Terry; children, Taylor Allen, Dominic and Jenna Allen, Anthony and Angela Allen; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Parker, and Giavonna; father-in-law, Robert Allen; brother and sisters, John and Marybeth Gervasi, Christine Gervasi, Jeanne and John Kernan, Melinda and Michael Beaker; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Colleen Allen; several nieces and nephews. Geri was a caring wife, mother, and Nonna, who loved her family dearly. She enjoyed cooking and baking for and with her family. She was active in the Catholic church and in Bible study, and also loved her job and friends at Dr. Dame’s dental office. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Baldwin St., Jenison, with Fr. Colin Mulhall presiding. Burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday, March 20 from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with a vigil service at 7 pm, and also from 10 - 11 am Monday prior to the service at church.
