Gerald VandeVelde

VandeVelde - Gerald Arthur aged 73 passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 after a 5 month struggle with pancreatic cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Gertrude VandeVelde. He is survived by his daughters, Laura (Dan) Steenwyk, Dayna (Steve) Traynor; grandchildren Sydni and Grayson Traynor, and Mars, Zoe and Higgins Steenwyk. He will be remembered for his love for his grandkids, food, and good conversation. For more than 20 years, Gerald helped his clients of Project Rehab find joy. He was also an Advanced Rolfer, an avid photographer and a proud 1967 graduate of MSU. He was part of Phi Eta Sigma and received the College Freshman Academic Honorary and Phi Gamma Mu National Social Science Honorary.
