Gerald R.  Wildey

Wildey, Gerald R. Gerald Ray Wildey, age 82 of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015. He was born February 13, 1932 to Ulysses and Jessie Wildey and is also preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Marcia and son, David Wildey. He will be greatly missed by his son,  Barry Wildey; daughter, Cheryl Wildey; daughter-in-law, Barbara Hayes; grandchildren, Mike and April Wildey, Jordan Wildey, Jen and James Palm; great-grandson, Jackson Palm; sister, Shirley and Walter DeBoer; sister-in-law, Myrna Nickel. Gerald retired after 37 years of service from the railroad and was an avid bowler. A celebration of Gerald’s life will be held at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave., Wyoming on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
