Gerald Paauwe

PAAUWE - Mr. Gerald Paauwe, aged 87, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Mary Anne Paauwe; sister, Lucille Clay; nephew, Rick Clay, dear cousin, Marge Lauman. Surviving are his children, Cecelia (Jerry) Davis, Vincent Paauwe, Tom (Kristy) Paauwe, Joe (Diane) Paauwe, James (Vickie) Paauwe; companion of 30 years, Marilyn White; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Wesley (Barb), Eugene, Douglas (Carol); 8 nieces and nephews. Mr. Paauwe was a loving father and grandfather, a musician and history teacher for Hopkins Public Schools. He was a WWII veteran serving with the US Marine Corps in the South Pacific.
