Georgianna “Jor” Ritter

Georgianna “Jor” Ritter, age 94, of Hudsonville, went to be with her Lord on Monday, September 15, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Russell; brother, Stanley Frey; sister, Juanita Mann; and her foster family who raised her. Jor will be lovingly remembered by her children, Rhonda and Jack Beukema, Denise Bulgarella-Pell, Randy and Karlene Ritter; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; extended family and friends. Jor was a prayer warrior for her family. She enjoyed reading, having parties and get-togethers, but her greatest love was for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and her family. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Floral View Memorial Gardens, 5371 8th Ave., Grandville, MI 49418. Friends and relatives may visit with the family from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.

Jor was my friend from Jamestown Baptist Church. I’m sad to hear of her passing. She was a remarkable person who touched the lives of many including my four girls. The warmth and love she shared with us will be cherished. I will always remember the times she helped me in the kitchen at Jamestown Baptist, her ability to organize events, and help with her insightful ideas was amazing. She and Russ were both such sweet people! My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.
