Georgiana Schievink

Schievink - JoAnne was called from this life on 4/10/16 in Melbourne, FL. Born to George and Edith Stewart on 2/1/50 in Grand Rapids, MI. Joanne was a 1968 graduate of Central High School. She spent some memorable years in Hawaii before returning to Grand Rapids to raise her family. Her career was mortgage underwriting at various companies before retiring from Fifth Third Bank in 2000. After retiring she moved to Melbourne Beach, FL where she enjoyed winters and returned annually to spend summers at her home at Stony Lake, MI. She was devoted to her family and friends. Her kindness and understanding will be missed by all who had the good fortune of knowing her. She is survived by her husband Kim Schievink; daughters, Rebecca Severson, Cara (Matthew) Ryan, and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 3:00PM Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Belmont, 1601 Post Dr. NE.
