George Woodrow Putnam III, 68 of Wyoming, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, August 23, 2026. 

Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, George spent most of his life in the area. He worked over three decades in the furniture industry before retiring. 

Family was the most important thing in George’s life. He especially loved his time spent with all his grandchildren. He cared thoroughly for his loved ones and was a provider and protector to his core. 

George is warmly remembered and deeply missed by his significant other, mother, brothers, children, grandchildren, and many more. 

A Celebration of Life will be held as a memorial to George on September 26, 2026 at his son’s house.
