WHITE - Pastor George B. White, aged 83 went home Friday, January 7, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine. He will be dearly missed by his children, Kenneth (Sharon) White, Carrie (Paul) Kent, Valerie (Dennis) Mooney, Sandra Larson, Janice VanEe, Bernie (Dawn) White; grandchildren, Andy (Casey) and Nathan White, Steve (Mellisa) Kent, Jenny (Matt) Mellema, Phillip, Sean and Jacqlyn ( Fiance, Joshua Murphy,) Mooney, Greg (Trisha) Larson Jr., Nichole (Matt) Cizauskas, Amanda (Aaron) Blossom, and Megan (Rob) Workman, Rashell, Aubrey, Tyler and Kendrick VanEe, Erin (Fiance Samuel Garlets), Emily, Zachary and Shannon White; great grandchildren, Bryce, Alayna and Wade Kent, Ben, Kate and Baby Sam Mellema, Joslyn Murphy, Maryn, Elise, Jude and Graham Larson, Dylan and Stella Cizauskas, Grace Blossom; brothers and sisters, Bill White, Bob (Doris) White, Nona White, Wilma Hagland; son-in-law, Greg Larson; several nieces and nephews. A celebration of George's life will be held 3:00PM Monday, January 10, 2011 at West Cannon Baptist Church, 5760 Cannonsburg Rd, where George served as Pastor for many years, with Pastors Doug Crawford and Mark Cizauskas officiating. His family will greet relatives and friends Sunday from 2:00PM to 5:00PM with a time of sharing of "George stories" from 4:00PM to 5:00PM at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE., and one hour prior to the service at church.
