George W. Stauffer Sr.

George W. Stauffer Sr., age 92, of Jenison, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Mildred Stauffer; brother, Richard Stauffer; and daughter-in-law, Gretchen Stauffer. He is survived by his wife, Sarah (Saran); children, Daniel S. Stauffer II, David Stauffer, Bill Stauffer; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Suzette Stauffer. George served in the South Pacific with the US Army Air Forces during World War II.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens, 5151 8th Ave. SW, Grandville, with Rev. Ronald Zartman officiating.  Inurnment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday, March 27, from 4-6 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville.  An additional visitation will be held on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.
