MOYERS - Mr. George A. Moyers aged 53 passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 24, 2014. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine Baker; father, James Moyers; grandmother, Bethel Sitts. Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Sally; children, Jaime (Bruce) Guttrich, Carrie (Jeremy) Herweyer, Bobbi (Rich) Gross, Bruce (Sara) Chriss, Tina (Robert) Sawyer, Lisa Moyers; sister, Donna (Brad) Buettner; brother, Lester (Ruth) Moyers;14 grandchildren; one great grandson; also surviving are Sally's family, Bea Sims, Butch (Sandy), Bruce (Pam), John (Amy) Grover, Mindy Anderson (Allen); many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. George worked as a Supervisor at Quality Brass for over 30 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and loved sports, especially corn hole, fishing and golf. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave. His family will greet relatives and friends Monday from 5 to 8PM and one hour prior to the service Tuesday. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
