Remembering George H. Keen

George H. Keen, age 77, of Byron Center, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021. He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Emerick. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Mickey; children, Lisa M. Keen, Robert B. Keen and fiancee Alex Widerski, Kelly J. Keen; 3 grandchildren, Dylynn Keen, Allie Keen, Robert Keen III; one great grandchild, Aubrey Ritsema; sister, Cheryl and George Heemstra; and several nieces and nephews.

Geo was an amazing man with his ability to make everyone smile and was the epitome of a gentleman. Geo was a savior to the many people he adopted including me and will always be held in high regard. The world is a lot darker without him. Sending love, peace and blessings to the Keen family.

We will miss George and at times like this ask for Gods loving hand to uplift all of his family and friends. He was one of a kind no doubt, his chuckles and friendly banter will certainly be missed.

George and I worked together at WKTV Community Access TV. One of the most passionate and dedicated supporters of local racing. He will be missed greatly.

I always looked forward to seeing George when he would come in to volunteer at Meals on Wheels. He was so happy to be able to help us with delivering to seniors. He will be greatly missed.
